Perfect for you restoration.   GM shifter knob 378167 with hurst stick handle number 8009.  This was removed from a factory 4 speed, "F" body Camaro, Firebird.  According to my GM parts manual, shifter ball/knob number 378167 was used on the 1978-1979 "F" bodies with a manual trans.  It was also used on the 1977-1979 "X" bodies with manual trans.  Main difference of this shifter knob from the earlier years is the fact that reverse is engaged by moving the shifter lever to the left and then DOWN when the earlier years were to the left and UP.  This knob has the "R" and the work LIFT to the left side and down of the shifter pattern.  Knob is overall good condition with no tears in the covering.  Just normal scuffs from use.
Shifter handle is a hurst model number 8009.  It is approximately 10.5" tall, has a 2.75" sweep to the side and 1" off center.  Detail drawing can be found on the hurst site.  Chrome on the handle is good with a slight about an inch about the mounting holes.  Dont think it would would be visible with a shifter boot or console.
Being sold as is.  Email with questions.  Perfect item for that restoration.  No international shipping.  FREE SHIPPING, FREE SHIPPING, FREE SHIPPING.   Thanks.
