This is a new Shoei Neotec modular helmet, size Small, silver. I purchased this in January 2013, used it for 6 hours total, and it has been sitting in its protective bag ever since. Time to let it go, as I don't plan on using it. The original box, protective bag, and all paperwork are included.

It has never been dropped or scratched - it is pristine - as new. This helmet is a premium, top of the line helmet, with great features. I especially loved the integrated sun shield. It's very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. You can check it out on the Shoei site: http://www.shoei-helmets.com/neotec/ and in this Revzilla video: http://www.revzilla.com/shoei-neotec-helmet.

Retail is $650, so this one is a steal at $500. This price is firm - no haggling or lowballing.

You may be wondering - why am I selling this perfect helmet? Because I no longer own a street bike, and don't plan on getting one.

One lap of the web: Arizona auctions edition

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

-- Pink was not a color offered for the Chevrolet Corvette -- a fact you're probably aware of. But one example was finished in (a rather nice, we think) shade of pink right at the factory for Harley Earl's wife. Hemmings Daily has the story on this rare car, which is heading to auction this week.

BMW M5 manual mess-up

Sat, 27 Jan 2007

By Chris chilton Motor Industry 27 January 2007 01:34 North American customers were delighted when BMW bowed to their demands for a full three-pedal manual version of the current V10 M5 super saloon, but aren’t quiet so enamoured with the finished product. The issue is not with the gearbox itself – BMW successfully replaced the European model’s seven-speed SMG box with the old-shape M5’s six-speed manual – but with the compromises that were needed to get there. Without the benefit of computer control for the opening and closing of the clutch plates, M division’s engineers couldn’t eliminate axle tramp under hard take-offs.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL previewed by leaked brochure

Tue, 13 Dec 2011

Here's the image that has the Web abuzz today--an apparent brochure scan of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL distributed by a European automotive site. Design cues reminiscent of the SLS AMG are unmistakable, and the new SL also takes on a fairly prominent iteration of the corporate front fascia. Underneath, Mercedes is promising a new aluminum architecture that will save weight while boosting rigidity.
