The Shoei RF-1100 Merciless Helmet is a unique asymmetrical graphics design. A grayscale graphic done on a matte white background. And for those of you who are picky about your skulls, as you well should be, these will pass the test.

CW-1 Face Shield
- The CW-1, three-dimensionally curved shield is both wider and taller than the CX-1V it replaces. Maximized up/down vision with top of the line peripheral vision.
Q.R.S.A. (Quick Release Self-Adjusting) Base Plate System
- Q.R.S.A. base plate allows for tool-less face shield removal and installation.
- Every time the shield is lowered, the spring-loaded base plate (latch on the right side of the visor) (U.S. patent pending 11/799935) pulls the shield back to contact the window beading evenly, ensuring a wind and waterproof seal between shield and helmet. This latch locks the Visor in so it stays fully down and on your face.
AIM+ Shell Construction:
- Aerodynamic properties are maximized through extensive wind tunnel and professional riders’ feedback
- High performance fiber materials are combined with extremely elastic organic fibers to create shell structure that is ultra lightweight, rigid and resilient
- Six EPS liner configurations present increased fit options that comfortably fit most head sizes
- A third generation Tail Fin, integrated into the bottom rear beading in combination with the Shell-Integrated Spoiler, allows smooth airflow that reduces drag and lift
Variable Ventilation System
- Upper Air Intake Vent is positioned to maximize air volume into the helmet interior.
- Top outlet vent is separate from the Shell.
- Integrated Spoiler, allowing it to be positioned for optimum flow-through ventilation.
- Four rear outlet vents allow for adjustment of airflow based on riding position.
- Enlarged lower air intake/defroster vent reduces shield fogging and increases ventilation.
- The rear/neck outlets allow for effective air exhaust.

2013 Range Rover Hybrid confirmed
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Jaguar Land Rover Director Hybrids and Electrification, Peter Richings, has confirmed the Range Rover hybrid will launch in 2013. From the new, entry-level 3.0 litre diesel Vogue to the 5.0 litre V8 Supercharged Range Rover Autobiography, all the new Range Rovers offer more performance, more off-road ability (or certainly easier off-road running thanks to the new automatic Terrain Response) together with lower emissions and improved economy. But although the new 3.0 litre TDV6 Range Rover will offer 196g/km emissions and manage 37.7 mpg there is going to be a new Range Rover Hybrid that cuts emissions to just 169g/km.
Hyundai and Rhys Millen extend deal for 2012

He'll return to drive the hopped-up Veloster hatchback in all seven races, including two at ESPN's Summer X Games. “I'm thrilled to represent Hyundai and the Veloster in the GRC series for a second season,” Millen said.

Sadly, too few staff and too much to do meant we had to decline his kind offer. Although it was very hard to do when we realised it would have meant a few days in the sun in Dubai and the chance to drive some of the world’s finest cars, shod with Michelin’s replacement for the Pilot Sport PS2.
