  • The design goal of Shurhold's Dual Action Polisher was to allow users to achieve the same high gloss, professional finish that the pros do with a rotary buffer/polisher, but in a unit that less-experienced, everyday users can operate with the same effectiveness. Traditional rotary polishers have a larger wheel spinning at a high rpm, which means the operator's technique is important as to avoid burns and swirls. The Shurhold polisher's dual action, 6 inch oscillating head eliminates these issues, and allows anyone to get the same great finish, without burns or swirls. General detail maintenance like waxing and buffing can now be done in half the time, with half the effort and half the amount of product.

There are several features that our team likes about this new polisher: the quick change pads with Velcro backing, the GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) that cuts off power to the unit should it become submerged or shorted by water, and the addition of a 20 foot power cord and not a stubby pigtail.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) liked this product so much that they awarded it top honors with an innovation award at the 2009 MAATS (The Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show) in the category: Boat Care, Coatings, Chemicals & Maintenance Tools

Toyota GT 86 gets 320bhp from turbo & S/C upgrade

    Thu, 17 May 2012

Gazoo GT 86 Sport FR Concept Toyota’s Gazoo Racing has taken the standard Toyota GT 86 and added a turbo and a supercharger to give the GT 86 320bhp. The Toyota GT86 has managed to deliver almost what we expected now it’s finally arrived, although many have been a bit disappointed at its peaky performance and lack of out and out grunt. There’s been much speculation that Toyota (and Subaru with the BRZ) would bite the bullet at some point and bolt on a turbo or supercharger to give the lightweight sports car a proper turn of speed.

    Video: 2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 at speed

Sixty years ago, Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis posted a then-world record 172.4 mph flying mile in a Jaguar XK120. The car had no seat and a perspex bubble was fitted over the cockpit to improve airflow. Over last weekend, Jaguar returned to the site of that famous run: Jabbeke, Belgium.

Aston Martin Hybrid Hydrogen Rapide S race car revealed

    Fri, 12 Apr 2013

The new Aston Martin Rapide S was revealed in January, and now Aston Martin are taking the Rapide S racing, but with a twist – it’s going to be able to run on hydrogen. Aston Martin has been working with hydrogen experts Alset Global and have developed a twin turbo version of their 6.0 litre V12 that can run on petrol, gaseous hydrogen or a blend of both and the plan is to run the Rapide S at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring next month with at least one lap run on hydrogen alone. The hydrogen system in the Rapide S (which AM are calling a hybrid, but it’s only a hybrid in the sense it uses two fuels, not that it uses electric motors) has a hydrogen fuel rail, storage tanks and its won engine management system to control combustion.
