Lada Priora Coupe
Fri, 01 Sep 2006Launched at the Moscow motor show earlier this week is the new Lada Priora Coupe. Based closely on the lower medium Priora sedan platform, the Coupe has no carry over exterior elements except for its headlamps. Core features are a full depth grille graphic, contemporary prominent wheel arches that blend into a raised lower side surface and circular interior air vents denoting the car's sporting orientation. With dimensions of 4250mm long, 1696mm wide and 1430mm high, and a new found level of manufacturing quality, this Russian designed and manufactured Lada will go head to head with Hyundai Accent Coupe.
Skoda Fabia concept
Tue, 06 Mar 2007By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 06 March 2007 03:50 Skoda looks to the Mini for Fabia body kit Expect to see some Mini-inspired styling cues on Skoda's new Fabia, taken from this concept car unveiled today at the Geneva show. Tucked in a corner alongside a rally car concept, the funked-up Fabia had a silver roof and door mirror caps; although not yet officially confirmed for production, officials reckon the new look will make it to showrooms, unlike a Fabia Scout faux-by-four, which was ruled out. The Fabia goes on sale in May for around £8000.

Fri, 04 Jan 2008Tokyo held its design week late last year, overlapping with the tail-end of the auto show. Though thankfully easier to get to than that, what you get is a bit different to expectations. Japanese are noted for the effort they give presentation: it's in their dress, their language, in how they wrap gifts in stores and serve food in restaurants.
