New sidecar rear view mirror is 5 1/4’’ x 3 3/4’’ and is made of chrome plated plastic. It has an adjustment screw for the mirror to swivel and tighten down. It is a universal fit and mounts on the left or right side of sidecar. Comes with screws and mounting adapter bracket to bolt to existing mounting holes. The slots in the bracket are 5 1/4’’ from end to end. For new installations use gasket as template and drill two 1/8’’ holes for mounting screws. Mirror comes with a 1 1/2’’ screw to fasten mirror to mounting bracket. The mirror base is 5 7/8'' long and 1 3/16'' at its widest. Same style mirror as used on California Sidecars and many other sidecars such as Velorex, Champion, Harley and SOA Eagle Sidecar. The chrome has some small pin point flaws that you must be up close to see. Please check out my other sidecar parts.

Lutz deflates talk of new Chevy Caprice
Fri, 17 Jul 2009Well, that was fast. Just four days after Bob Lutz, General Motors' new marketing honcho, raised the possibility of the Pontiac G8 living on as a new Chevrolet Caprice, he shot it down. "The G8 will not be a Caprice after all," Lutz wrote on GM's Fastlane blog on July 16.
