Sun, 23 Jun 2013Top Gear Best of British Cars Parade on the Mall The new series of Top Gear (Series 20) starts next Sunday, and it looks like the segment on the new Jaguar F-Type is going to be Top Gear’s most ambitious shoot yet. Jeremy Clarkson Tweeted the photo above of the line-up on the Queen’s front drive (The Mall) as Top Gear seem to have dragged just about every British built vehicle with an engine and wheels out to play. Apart from the trio of F-Types leading the procession, there’s everything from a McLaren P1 – and a couple of 12Cs – by way of an Aston Martin One-77 to fire engines, Nissans, lawn mowers, motorbikes, a selection of F1 cars from Red Bull, McLaren et al, and any other metal you can imagine.

Wed, 24 Mar 2010General Motors, and its Chinese partner SAIC, revealed three two-seat personal mobility concepts in Shanghai today. Called the EN-V – an acronym for Electric Networked-Vehicle – the Xiao (Laugh), Jiao (Pride) and Maio (Magic) models embody different characteristics for future transportation. The Jiao (top image) was designed at GM Europe while the Miao (bottom left) was created at GM's Advanced Design Studio in California, and the Xiao (bottom right) was designed by GM Holden's design team in Australia.

The whacking, thwacking, lumberjacking-and-it's-OK pony cars sent to dealers and--according to one poster--delivered to at least one customer are being hauled in for a once-over because of an unspecified possible issue with the potent machines. According to Monte Doran, communications manager for Corvette and Camaro, "We go through a standard quality assessment with every new vehicle and we found what we thought was a potential concern.
