We have a few of the original plans left with the introduction packet that includes the 3-view drawings and a booklet that explains the design and mission for the aircraft.  Included is the October, 2003 Sidewinder e-lines newsletter that describes inspections and modifications to improve performance.  The Construction Manual is included that explains construction, weight and balance and flight testing.  The plans include 112 pages from notebook size A drawings to large about 2' x 3' E size drawings and show most parts full size.  This is not a kit aircraft.  It is built from raw materials following the drawings which can be used as patterns for many of the parts.

These are the last of the original plans and will be the last opportunity to buy a set.
The buy it now price is about half the previous selling price of $255.00

These plans are the original as drawn by Jerry Smyth and being sold by the current design rights owner.  Other optional plans are not included.

SEAT Altea XL

Fri, 25 Aug 2006

Two years after the Seat Altea hatchback was launched comes the extended XL version, which effectively becomes a mini-MPV thanks to a 187mm increase in length. This of course benefits the interior most, the trunk growing from 409 liters to 635 with the rear bench pushed forward - though is conspicuously without the extra row of seats offered by rivals. Outside, changes are most noticeable at the rear where the styling theme has been softened to reflect the car's renewed family-focus.

2014 Jaguar XK Signature and Dynamic R specification revealed

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

The 2014 Jaguar XK Dynamic R (left) and XK Signature The Jaguar XK – in naturally aspirated guise or as an XKR – is getting a bit long in the tooth, so Jaguar have launched two special editions – the XK Signature and Dynamic  R specification – to try and put a bit of fizz in to sales. Jaguar are proclaiming the XK Signature and Dynamic  R specification as special editions, but at substantial discounts to the current models – and with increased specification – it looks like these two new models are going to be the Jaguar XK range for 2014 (plus the Jaguar XKR-S). The Jaguar XK Dynamic R gets the same 503bhp 5.0 litre supercharged engine as the XKR but gets both the Black Dynamic Pack and Speed Pack as standard as well as a sports exhaust, Performance Seats with diamond stitching and 20” Vortex diamond turned wheels.

Christian von Koenigsegg talks Saab

Mon, 24 Aug 2009

Christian von Koenigsegg talks about the future of Saab in the video below But Christian is not a man who courts personal publicity. So it’s a sign of how important the Koenigsegg-Saab deal is to him – and The Koenigsegg Group – that he’s come out of the woodwork to talk about the Saab deal. We first reported that Koenigsegg were to buy Saab back in May when we heard the first rumblings that Saab had a Swedish suitor.
