Win 'epic family playdate' from Hyundai

To promote the new seven-passenger Santa Fe, Pinterest campaign in which consumers can "pin" their way to winning an "epic" family playdate -- similar to the one featured in its register online and then create a Pinterest board titled, "Hyundai's epic playdate weekend," within their personal Pinterest account. Toyota's global design chief Tokuo Fukuichi appointed president of Lexus

Toyota's global design chief Tokuo Fukuichi will be the first designer to sit on the company's board of directors when his appointment comes into effect on 1 April. Fukuichi will retain his position as global head of design for the Toyota, Lexus and Scion brands and will join the board after the general shareholders' meeting. His influence on Toyota's design direction over the last few years has been noticeable, particularly with Lexus, as the company strives to make its traditionally very conservative products a little more exciting.

Peugeot RC Z will be built

After claims about gauging public reaction, and teasing us with drives in a concept car that felt production-ready, the French manufacturer has done the decent thing and decided to build the RC Z. The production model will be shown at the 2009 Frankfurt show, two years after the concept was first unveiled.
