Item is a Sigtronics Transcom II SPO-42 Portable Intercom. Fail safe feature allows pilot to always hear radios - even if the intercom is off. Operates up to 40 hours on one 9-volt battery. Includes DC power cable to offer seamless operation on either battery or 11-34 Volt DC aircraft power. Radio priority assures that ATC hears only the crew member transmitting. Push to Talk Switch inputs for both pilot and copilot. Music input for CD player, MP3 player or AM / FM receiver. Audio output for recording ATC flight dialog. Item has very little signs of wear and use on it. Item will come with cords already attached to item ready for installation. Please allow up to three days handling time for all items to be shipped. I will combine shipping cost for anyone who purchases multiple items and wishes to save on shipping costs, just send an email if you intend to purchase multiple items and would like them combined. BMW set to go front-wheel drive
Wed, 17 Mar 2010BMW chairman Norbert Reithofer has confirmed that the German carmaker will introduce a new front-wheel-drive entry-level model positioned and priced below the existing 1-series as part of plans to help increase part sharing and to bolster the potential for production savings between the BMW and Mini brands, thus bringing an end to the era of rear- and four-wheel-drive-only BMW models. Speaking to AutoWeek at the Geneva motor show, Reithofer said internal BMW studies revealed that despite the downturn in the world's economy, there was continued demand for what he described as "premium vehicles" in the small-car class, before officially acknowledging plans that will see BMW produce a rival to the recently unveiled Audi A1 and a new Smart Forfour presently under development at Mercedes-Benz. "We will be extending the BMW and Mini brands into the small-car segment with new models and variants," he said.
Spy photos: BMW i8 hits Swedish test track
Mon, 30 Apr 2012Spy photographers caught the new BMW i8 testing on a secret track wearing the company’s familiar psychedelic camouflage. The test car pictured is a preproduction model rather than a concept BMW i8, similar to what should appear in 2013. As reported earlier, we’re expecting BMW’s 2014 i8 hybrid coupe to get a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder direct-injection gasoline engine--essentially the same unit earmarked to head into the next-generation Mini and the front-wheel-drive BMW 1-series due out in 2014.
