The new Mercedes AMG GT gets teased on video. Mercedes effective replacement for the SLS – the Mercedes AMG GT – is due to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show later this year, but Mercedes has already started the slow reveal of the AMG GT with photos of the interior last month. Pitched a bit further down the supercar ladder than the SLS, the AMG Gt is aiming to take on cars like the Porsche 911 and deliver a car that Mercedes hope will be the benchmark in its class.

Belgian Grand Prix 2011 As always, Spa threw the weather in to the equation in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, with Button ending in 13th place on the grid after a rapidly drying track left the McLaren driver stranded in 13th place as others took advantage, despite being obviously quicker than most of the pack. Without the rain errors it could have been a McLaren front row, but Hamilton at least managed to show the McLarens were quick at Spa and joined Vettel on the front row with Webber in third and Massa fourth. New BMW 3-series bows, performance-oriented 335iS joins the lineup

A new performance-oriented 335iS model endowed with an M-sport styling kit and unique chassis settings heads the list of changes BMW brings to its facelifted 2011 3-series coupe and convertible. Set to slot into the lineup between an upgraded 335i and the M3 when it goes on sale in March as an exclusive for North America, the 335iS runs a tuned version of BMW's N54 engine, as found in the recently unveiled Z4 sDrive35iS, coupled to either a standard six-speed manual or an optional Getrag-engineered seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine of the 335iS adds a special software package to bump power to 326 hp and lift torque to 332 lb-ft--or to an even gutsier 369 lb-ft for short periods via an overboost function that unleashes added turbocharger boost pressure.
