Skoda is the latest manufacturer to join the queue of those releasing teaser shots ahead of the 64th Frankfurt motor show next week. Following on from the somewhat understated VisionD shown in Geneva ealier this year, is the MissionL. Unlike the VisionD, the MissionL concept is said to be close to a final production-ready design that will be launched through Europe, Russia and China.

Lamborghini Aventador

A clear evolution of both the Murcielago and the Reventon, the Aventador dissapointed and wowed in equal measure at its unveiling. Showcasing Lamborghini's newfound love for carbon fiber as well as an exhaustive list of new technologies for their road cars – such as a pushrod suspension – the Aventador certainly has a supercar-style spec sheet. Bugatti is readying the new Royale to celebrate the company’s centenary this autumn, where it will be shown to prospective customers on the eve of the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. We’ll be the first to admit that the original teaser photo, scanned from a VIP invite by an eagle-eyed CAR reader, doesn’t reveal too much of the new Bugatti Royale – but today a second image popped up on Pistonheads which we've reproduced here, revealing more of the Rapide.
