Check the pictures above to ensure that your wheels match the Wheelskins exactly. Wheelskins fit perfectly on the rims they are designed for, but they are not interchangeable with other styled wheels even if they look close. REMEMBER: Entering a Quantity of 1 will get 4 Hubcaps Shipped to You All tires have a "tire size series" printed on the sidewall which contains the wheel size. The last two digits following the R denote your wheel size. The tire size will correspond to the hubcap size. (Please see the thumbnail above) RETURNS Domestic USA Orders Only. Laser etching is part of this offering, it is exclusive to Lear Corporation and can be used to add refined design elements to cloth and leather." A mix of fabric and leather in seating is not new but is often seen by the consumer as a cheaper alternative to full leather.
VW Touareg BlueMotion hits the UK
Fri, 12 Jun 2009Volkswagen has announced the VW Touareg BlueMotion for the UK Offering improved economy and lower emissions, the Touareg BlueMotion manages to drop in to a lower Co2 band by emitting 219g/km (a reduction from 244g/km on the V6 TDi) and it delivers 34mpg as opposed to 30.4mpg on the V7 TDi. These improvements have been achieved by the usual ECU tweaking, low rolling resistance tyres, some aerodynamic tweaks and a lower ride height (exactly the same sort of stuff that Ford has done on the EConetic range). And the penalty for the lower emissions and better economy is very slight, with the Touareg BlueMotion still managing the 0-60mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 126mph.
