Renault Twin-Z concept (2013) first official pictures
Mon, 08 Apr 2013This is the Renault Twin-Z concept (say it 'Twin-Zee'). Although it packs the usual concept car madness of suicide doors, a pared-back cabin and LEDs everywhere, it actually previews the look – and drivetrain – of the next Renault Twingo. The big news is that it'll be rear-engined, rear-drive, and offer an electric option for less money than the £13k Renault Zoe EV.
Renault to unveil Alpine-branded concept car at Monaco GP
Tue, 22 May 2012Renault is set to unveil an Alpine-branded concept car at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. The A110-50 – so named to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the oh-so-pretty A110 rally car – is clearly a development of the 2010 DeZir concept car although with only one leaked image to analyze, it's difficult to know by what amount it has changed. Clearly it has been subjected to the addition of a myriad of additional details, surfaces, inlets, outlets and various pieces of racing addenda however that, on the little evidence we have, appear to have added drama to the detriment of the refreshingly non-aggressive nature of the DeZir.
Range Rover Evoque launches in India at £60,000
Sun, 06 Nov 2011Range Rover Evoque launches in India Yes, a starting price of around £60k for a Range Rover Evoque in India seems rather steep (and that’s plus Octroi – local sales tax). After all, in the UK you can jump in to an Evoque from a shade under £28k (for the 2WD Evoque eD4 Pure), and even the top of the range Evoque Si4 Dynamic with an auto ‘box comes in at just £40k (until you dive in to the options, and then it’ll be nearer £50k). So what’s going on with the Evoque in India?
