The Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 runs from 17th -27th September to the public Many of the Japanese makers will be conspicuous by their absence, but that should be more than made up for by the launches from the big European makers. And of course the Koreans – in the guise of Hyundai and Kia – will do what they’re starting to do in the market place and fill the gap left by the Japanese. Rinspeed Dock 'n' Go

Geneva 2012 will see the ever-present Rinspeed display its latest creation, the ‘Dock+Go' concept. Brainchild of the Swiss automotive visionary Frank M. Rinderknecht, the Dock+Go is a modular mobility system that revolves around the idea of automotive ‘backpacks'.

Crafting the Ferrari LaFerrari

Ferrari's limited-edition supercars are special. They appear about once a decade, cost a small fortune -- which has never hurt sales -- and often become the benchmark for next-generation supercars at Ferrari and in the industry. Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo says the new LaFerrari is no exception because of features such as the supercar's gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain, its Formula One-inspired carbon fiber cockpit and its state-of-the-art active aerodynamics.
