Following on from the Jaguar XK175 produced by Jaguar USA to commemorate 175 75 years of Jaguar, today we get the Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept bowing in at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the first time we’ve had a concept based on the new XJ. Next Ford Mustang to follow Evos concept, ditch retro styling, report says

The Ford Mustang has been rolling with a retro-heavy styling theme since the fourth generation of the pony car appeared as a 1994 model. But the Wall Street Journal reports that the sixth-generation Mustang, due out in about two years, will break that mold. The newspaper, citing sources it did not name who know of Ford's plans, says that the new Mustang will look a lot like the Evos concept from last year's Frankfurt show.

Hyundai i30 R Turbo at Geneva 2013

The anticipated ’hot’ Hyundai i30 looks like it’s arriving at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with the turbo engine from the Veloster. It’s nearly a year since we reported that Hyundai were planning to make a performance version of the i30, with the 1.6 litre turbo from the Velsoter Turbo promising decent performance and up to 200bhp. Now Autoblog in Spain are reporting that a Hyundai i30 RS (or i30 R or i30 GT or i30…) will arrive at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a prelude to a 2014 launch.
