We have a great running 30" Suzuki DF300 available at an incredible deal. The listing and price is for the center 30" shaft outboard only. The starting bid is less than half the list price of a new one.
This engine spent most of its life trolling and idling. There are a total of 1,060 engine hours, or about 120 hours per year. Many mechanics agree that this is ideal usage for four strokes as the ones that are run regularly stay in better condition then those that sit. (4-Strokes have engine oil that lubricates the pistons, rings, etc--- That oil is only lubricating when the engine is running.) There are multiple Sea-Tow captains running DF300s with well over 10,000 hours on their engines. (They are still running them.) This is a 2009 DF300. We will entertain all offers above the starting bid to buy-it-now. We are not including any accessories at this incredibly low starting price We can put this DF300 in an outboard crate for $60. We can arrange for shipping via R+L Carriers for our customers. We also have a boat transporter that makes outboard deliveries. The Southeast typically runs $250-$350. Thu, 31 Oct 2013The Land Rover Defender goes rallying (pictured) with Bowler modifications The venerable Land Rover Defender – now reaching the end of its shelf life – may not seem the perfect rally car. But a Defender tweaked and fettled with some Bowler Fairy Dust is another matter, and that’s exactly what’s happening with a new, one-make Defender Challenge by Bowler – and backed by Land Rover – which is aiming to put up to fifteen Defenders in to UK forest stage rallies and hill rallies in 2014. The Defender in question is a Defender 90 Hard Top with the usual 2.2 litre diesel, but sorted by Bowler to deliver 170bhp and 323lb/ft of torque (up from the regular 122bhp/266lb/ft) with a standard six-speed manual ‘box, MSA roll cage, fire extinguisher and Khumo tyres.

Unlike typical transportation projects, this project called for students to create a product that would develop the transportation brand and push it to the next level. The brief asked students to develop a '2, 3, 4 or no wheel' niche product, which translated KTM values into a world 10 years from now.
