Single 2009 Suzuki Df300 300+hp 30" Outboard Engine Runs Excellent No Reserve! on 2040-parts.com
Jupiter, Florida, United States
We have a great running 30" Suzuki DF300 available at an incredible deal. The listing and price is for the center 30" shaft outboard only. The starting bid is less than half the list price of a new one.
This engine spent most of its life trolling and idling. There are a total of 1,060 engine hours, or about 120 hours per year. Many mechanics agree that this is ideal usage for four strokes as the ones that are run regularly stay in better condition then those that sit. (4-Strokes have engine oil that lubricates the pistons, rings, etc--- That oil is only lubricating when the engine is running.) There are multiple Sea-Tow captains running DF300s with well over 10,000 hours on their engines. (They are still running them.) This is a 2009 DF300. We will entertain all offers above the starting bid to buy-it-now. We are not including any accessories at this incredibly low starting price We can put this DF300 in an outboard crate for $60. We can arrange for shipping via R+L Carriers for our customers. We also have a boat transporter that makes outboard deliveries. The Southeast typically runs $250-$350. Northeast is generally $450-$750. We collect 6% sales tax for Florida shipping destinations and for local pickups. Feel free to contact Rob with any questions or to view the outboards. BMW i3 EV takes to the race track (video)
Sat, 14 Dec 2013BMW i3 EV takes to the race track (video) The BMW i3 EV City Car finally got revealed in July in production guise, and it’s a clever car if not exactly a looker. With a lightweight inner body made from carbon fibre and an electric motor that offers 168 bhp and an instant 184lb/ft of torque it has more than enough power to keep up with traffic in any city. Sadly, the i3 hasn’t done particularly well in Euro NCAP tests but that hasn’t stopped orders for the i3 exceeding anything BMW could have reasonably expected.
Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell Saloon revealed
Wed, 25 Jun 2014The final design of Toyota’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell saloon is revealed The final design of the production version of the Toyota Fuel Cell Saloon has been revealed ahead of its arrival in the UK next summer, and it’s not a million miles away from the Toyota FCV Concept we saw last year at the Tokyo Motor Show. It’s not the best-looking car on the planet – the back, in particular, does seem a bit muddled – but it’s what’s under the skin that matters and that the FCEV is, subject to a proper refuelling infrastructure, a move forward for transport in a way BEVs will never be. The Toyota Fuel Cell saloon will offer performance and range very similar to an ICE car and, more importantly, can be refuelled in the same sort of time as an ICE car, which means electric car benefits with none of the range anxiety concerns that put most buyers off.
Renault Fluence Z.E.
Tue, 18 Oct 2011Honoring its 2009 Frankfurt motor show pledge to offer EV's by 2012, Renault has announced the Fluence Z.E., which will soon be offered alongside its conventionally-powered sibling. In making its transition to EV, the Fluence has undergone several changes; the most obvious being the battery pack which dictated an increase in the car's overall length. The extended rear quarter panels, which equate to the 130mm growth, add a sizeable visual weight to the rear of the car.
