This is a pre-owned elastic tether. It has a Wichard stainless steel twin trigger torsion gate which absolutely will not open unless the lever/grip and hook are squeezed simultaneously and a quick-release snap-shackle. This is a heavy duty and very high quality tether. There is no sign of wear or tear, in a good condition. We sold our boat and now selling sailing gears. When it is stretched it has 57” and when it is not stretched it has 40” (measured without stainless hooks).
