Many would ask whether the Mercedes GL has any point when the perfectly good M Class is a more sensible offering. The last tease only managed to show us the new Qashqai under a dust sheet in a tunnel, but this time we get a head-on view of the Qashqai to give us a few clues about its new look. The bonnet has more flowing lines than before which continue down in to the chrome element of the grill which, although similar in shape, is more integrated than before with slimmer headlights with integrated, v-shaped running lights.

Ford names China's Geely as preferred bidder for Volvo

Chinese automaker Geely Group Holding Co. is Ford Motor Co.'s preferred bidder to purchase Volvo Car Corp. Ford said Wednesday that it will start more detailed negotiations with Geely, adding that no final decisions have been made.
