This cable allows you to connect your Sirius/XM receiver directly to your car radio via the antenna jack, eliminating noise and interference normally experienced with FM wireless connections. It i easily installed between the car antenna and the car's AM/FM radio. Installation instructions:
The AM/FM antenna is disconnected from the car radio and the male Motorola is plugged into the female Motorola connector on the cable. The male Motorola on the cable is then plugged into the female Motorola connector on the cable. The 2.5mm plug on the cable is plugged into the FM jack on the XM/Sirius receiver.

COMPARE TO COMPETITOR FMDA25: DOES THE SAME THING. THE REASON THE COMPETITOR UNIT HAS A "SPLITTER BOX" IS FOR ORIGINAL SIRIUS XM UNITS THAT REQUIRED A BLOCKING CAPACITOR (BLOCKING THE 12VDC). SINCE 1978, THE SIRIUS XM UNITS HAVE THE DC BLOCKING CAPACITOR BUILT IN THE RECEIVER.

The cable connections are compatible with all XM or Sirius Satellite Radios and cars/trucks with "Motorola"antenna connectors. This includes most AM/FM radios.  NOTE: Make sure your car antenna has the most commonly used antenna connectors (Motorola type). If you are not sure, look at the drawing above. I UNFORTUNATELY DO NOT HAVE ANY ADAPTERS FOR OTHER TYPES OF ANTENNA CONNECTORS.
NOTE: I AM TOLD BY SOME BUYERS THAT THE MOTOROLA STYLE ANTENNA CONNECTORS ON THIS CABLE ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE ANTENNA CONNECTORS ON GM'S PICK UP TRUCKS (AND PROBABLY OTHER GM VEHICLES.  WHILE BEST BUY MAY HAVE AN ADAPTER THAT WORKS WITH THIS CABLE, PLS CHECK BEFORE ORDERING, I THOUGHT ALL AM/FM ANTENNAS HAD MOTOROLA TYPE CONNECTORS (SEE PICTURE ON THIS LISTING).
Also, I am told that some receivers have a different audio jack than this 2.5mm plug. Please check before ordering.

Allows receiver to be played through existing car audio systems
  • Can be installed by novice. No need for professional installation
  • Enjoy a higher quality audio experience than with a FM transmitter.
Have over 2500 available for bulk buyers.  OFFERS ACCEPTED ON 5 OR MORE.

These are direct from the cable factory and are packaged in poly bags.

Compare to Audiovox "FMDA25" cables at less than one half the cost! (The XM/Sirius Audiovox cable has a junction box that has a capacitor in it to block the 12VDC from the receiver but it is no longer needed on XM/Sirius receivers made in the past 10 years).

Thanks for looking.

That’s an increase of almost 50% on the selling price of the former record-setting 250 GTO, an example built for Sir Stirling Moss and sold in 2012. The latest deal is a private transaction and both the identity of the new owner and the location of the car are being kept secret.

Drink Drive Message Failing As One In 15 Fail Breath-Tests

Mon, 28 Jul 2014

ROAD safety charity Brake has issued an appeal to the public to not drink and drive this summer and all year-round, as figures from the Association of Chief Police Officer's (ACPO) summer drink drive enforcement campaign, show one in 15 of those breath-tested were over the limit. During the national campaign, which ran from 1 June to 30 June, 63,688 breath tests were administered, of which 4,108 (6.5%, or one in 15) were failed or refused. This is 1.3% more than during the 2013 campaign.
