Fri, 14 Mar 2014By Tom Clarkson First Official Pictures 14 March 2014 11:30 The workload has never been greater for Formula One’s 11 teams. They’re finalising preparations for the biggest shake-up in F1's technical regulations this century. Karim Habib to Head Exterior Design at BMW
Tue, 14 Dec 2010It was only a matter of time before we expected a talented designer to fill the position vacated by Anders Warming when he was promoted to the role of Design Director at Mini. News of that new appointment was revealed today and, as of March 2011, Karim Habib will become the new Head of Exteriors at BMW Design. No stranger to BMW Design, Habib comes back to the Munich-based carmaker after a two year absence, during which time he worked for rival German carmaker Mercedes-Benz.
Super-Mercs storm in
Fri, 29 Sep 2006By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 29 September 2006 08:18 Mercedes pulled the wraps off not one but two muscle-bound AMG monsters at the Paris show – the CL63 and S63. Powered by AMG’s formidable 6.3-litre V8 that pumps out 525bhp at a screaming 6800rpm and 465lb ft of twist action at 5200rpm, the uber Mercs will both hit 60mph in 4.6seconds and are electronically reined in at 155mph. Given their flagship position in the Mercedes thoroughbred stable, both cars are naturally fitted with every single acronym in Mercedes’ safety, braking, luxury and performance lexicon.
