The Avalanche Airbag is an intelligent system used to prevent complete burial in an avalanche and to survive the accident as unharmed as possible. The rescue concept: with one pull on the activation handle on the backpack tow airbags will inflate in mere seconds to a total volume of 170 liters. This additional volume will likely prevent the burial of the carrier. 97% out of 262 avalanche victims who activated the ABS airbag survived nearly unharmed.
Two airbags, located on both sides, provide enhanced safety and superior buoyancy effect as well as unobstructed view and full freedom of movement. Please note that the cartridge as well as the activation handle can be re-filled by ABS. The bag itself can be used many times.
The ABS Vario-Line
With the Vario-line ABS provides the most flexible avalanche backpacks of all time. A backpack base unit is housing the complete ABS System. Various sizes (5, 15 or 30 liters) can be easily zipped on.
100% Nylon
Size Medium/Large is for back length of more than 18 inches from top of hip to top of shoulder. Size Small/Medium is for back length of less than 19 inches from top of hip to top of shoulder.

The Bentley Art Project

The collection, which features a vast array of sculptures, paintings, digital art and photography created in many different media, will be auctioned off at an exclusive event at Bonhams in London on December 1. The unique pieces, created by created by Bentley's head of design, Dirk van Braeckel; head of interior design Robin Page; chief designer Raul Pires and 20 other designers, digital designers and clay modelers, draw on the skills and techniques utilized in their roles and their enthusiasm for art.

First Sight: Holden Torana concept
Wed, 13 Oct 2004Holden has stolen the limelight at the opening of the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney, unveiling a ground-up concept car dubbed the Torana TT36. The concept revives a famous Australian nameplate from the 1970s - appropriate since, like the original Torana, it features rear wheel drive and a six cylinder engine.
