Toyotas to get BMW diesel engines in Europe It has been announced that BMW are to supply Toyota with 1.6 and 2.0 litre diesel engines for Toyota cars in Europe from 2014. Last week we revealed that BMW and Toyota were discussing swapping engines and hybrid technology in an effort to cut costs and improve products. Aston Martin on Thursday confirmed that it will put the gorgeous V12 Zagato into production. Graduating students from the Industrial Design undergraduate program at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia recently presented their annual degree show. One third of the group developed transport related projects encompassing a broad range of topics including energy efficient personal mobility, sustainable materials and manufacturing, scientific data collection and emergency services. Overall, the students' work reflected a strong emphasis on user interaction, systems innovation and production integrity.
