Fri, 22 Jan 2010Toyota has updated the Auris for 2010 Back in October we reported on the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) 2010 Toyota Auris which was a pretty good pointer to what the rest of the world would get in the way of updates to the 2010 Toyota Auris. And it was, with Toyota confirming the UK changes for the Auris and also confirming that the Auris Hybrid will go on sale in July, just as we reported back in June last year. 2015 Volkswagen Passat: OFFICIAL
Fri, 04 Jul 2014The new 2015 Volkswagen Passat revealed VW previewed the 2015 Passat back in May with a set of design sketches and the promise of a sleeker design, less weight and better economy with more room for passengers – and now it’s here. The 2015 Volkswagen Passat is the eighth generation of a car that VW always hoped would wipe the floor with the Ford Mondeo and steal sales from the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class, but which has never quite hit the sort of home run the VW Golf has. But VW has tried hard with the 2015 Passat and delivered a car that looks Audi-slick and more upmarket, so perhaps the eight generation Passat will be the Passat to finally dominate the segment?
Nissan designs A Class catamaran
Fri, 12 Aug 2011Nissan has today announced that it has designed and built a catamaran as the latest part of its non-automotive design and development program. Matt Struble, who led the design and modeling team at Nissan Design America (NDA) in San Diego, will be racing the Class A Catamaran in the 2011 World Championship from August 13 through 20 in Skødstrup, Denmark. The team sought to improve and smooth all aspects of aero- and hydro-dynamics of the vessel, with the boat's composite structure designed and built in-house.
