SPEEDWERX - Straight-Up USA Horsepower since 1994
The
roots of Speedwerx and Hot Seat Performance go back to the 80s and 90s,
when owner Steve Houle was designing and building parts for his own
race sleds. His innovative ideas spoke for themselves as he proved to be
a dominating force in snowmobile racing, winning many races and
multiple world championships along the way. Soon other competitors and
consumers were asking for their own race-proven parts, and that led to
the creation of the Hot Seat Performance brand in 1994, and the
Speedwerx brand in 1999. For
over 20 years, the Speedwerx family has been committed to winning.
Whether it is on the race track with our own machines, or helping our
customers achieve their goals with our products, Speedwerx is a proven
winner in many different racing disciplines including Snowmobiles, ATVs,
UTVs, PWCs, and our newest venture, Dirt Track Racing Cars. With 69
World and National titles, 24 X-Games Medals (10 Gold!), and Thousands
of trips to Victory Lane, Speedwerx is known and respected worldwide as
an industry icon that sets the bar when it comes to performance,
quality, and service.
The staff here at Speedwerx takes pride in our work and the products we
manufacture. Most of our products are made right here in the USA and we
feel that this is as important to our customers as it is to us. Our
products are designed to perform in the toughest and most demanding
conditions, and are thoroughly tested with thousands of laps on the
track and thousands of miles on the trails and in the backcountry every
year. If you’re searching for the best performing and highest quality
parts for your Arctic Cat Snowmobile, ATV, or UTV, your Polaris ATV or
UTV, or your Dirt Track Race Car, look no further than Speedwerx.
Returns- Return authorization is required for all returns. Contact us for an RA
Number, clearly mark the outside of the package with the RA number,
include a copy of the invoice and write down the reason for the return,
and send the package freight prepaid. Returns are not accepted for items sold at a discount such as closeout, discontinued,
scratch and dent, or used items, items that have been installed or used, any electrical part, or items purchased 30 days or more prior to the return request. Returned
merchandise must be in the original packaging with all small parts and
hardware originally included, and in brand new condition. A 20% restocking fee
will be charged on all returns, except items that are determined to be covered under warranty, or in cases where an incorrect item was shipped.
Warranty-
Due to the nature of high performance or racing parts, all items are sold as-is and without warranty unless provided by the original manufacturer. Items manufactured by Speedwerx/Hot Seat Performance that are under question of warranty due to defects in materials or workmanship may be repaired, replaced, or in some cases returned for house credit at our discretion. Cash refunds are not allowed. We require you to
contact us for a return authorization for all warranty work. Please
include a detailed note explaining the length of time used, cause of
failure, and any other relevant information.
IMPORTANT- READ
BEFORE PURCHASING! The high performance products we sell are not for
installation or operation by "consumers" as defined by the Magnuson-Moss
Warranty Act! DO
NOT order any performance parts unless you have the technical ability
to properly set-up the entire machine to compensate for the installation
of those parts. References to "bolt-on" parts only indicates the parts
are removable from the machine (as opposed to machining type
modifications)- it is not meant to imply parts can be installed without
additional modification. The necessary work and expertise needed to
install different products varies. Instructions, where provided, are
given to assist in installation only, they are NOT a substitute for
mechanical experience in setting up racing snowmobiles, watercraft, or
land based vehicles. References to performance gains, reliability, ease
of installation, etc. are based on our, and outside customer's
experiences. This is NOT a guarantee of similar performance in every
installation. While we sell proved hardware, in the end it's up to the
individual racer to make the most of that hardware in his/her
application.
Best Offer- We put the best offer option on most of our Closeout, Discontinued, Scratch and Dent, and Used items. In most cases, we have done the research and priced these items lower than other sellers on eBay and elsewhere online for the same item, and since these items are usually marked down significantly from the original retail price, there is often little flexibility for further discounts. We may have missed something along the way, so if you have found the same item for less elsewhere, please send us a link to that item and we will see if we can meet or beat that price. We can't guarantee the lowest price, and may not be able to go any lower than the asking price, but we may be able to work with you on some items. Thank You.

MINI has broken the Guinness World Record for parallel parking at an event in China in the MINI Chinese Job. For as long as the Mini has been around people have been breaking Guinness World Records with it. That used to involve plunging large number of students in its confined interior and counting numbers quickly before claustrophobia took hold.

Salon Prive does a Night Shift for the Pommery Picnic
It may be a bit of an exagerration to say that Salon Privé – one of our favourite ‘Car’ outings – is going to include a night shift in 2011 – but almost. Salon Prive’s move from the Hurlingham in Chelsea out to the less central – but more hospitable – Duke of Northumberland’s gaff at Syon Park means there’s room to expand the event, so we’re getting treated to the ‘Pommery Picnic’ on the Friday evening – 7pm ’til 11pm. As we never fail to mention when we bang on about Salon Prive, it’s just like a Garden Party in a wealthy friend’s house where he just happens to have littered the grounds with the world’s greatest cars.

The first images and details of the fourth-generation Range Rover have been released, with a notable upward shift in size and 'dynamism' for the full-fat RR. The outgoing version brought with it a dramatic increase in size to make way for the smaller Sport and this new one grows to truly 'full-size' dimensions. The increase in length (no official figures have been released) is exaggerated by the canted-back nose, extended wheelbase and rear overhang and tapering roof line.
