BMW 3 Series GT Confirmed

Fri, 03 Jul 2009

A BMW 3 Series GT looks set to be launched with the next generation 3 Series It’s not going to be too hard to imagine how the 3 Series GT will look – think 5 Series GT on a boil wash. But BMW think there is money to be made with the GT concept, and are looking to take on the likes of the Audi A4 Avant and the Audi Q3. Frankfurt 2011: VW Nils EV Go-Kart Video

Sat, 17 Sep 2011

VW Nils revealed at Frankfurt There have been quite a few of these very small, go-kart-style urban commuter cars cropping up of late, but perhaps the Volkswagen Nils is the most promising. The most promising because if – and it’s a very big if – commuters take to the idea of a grown-up version of a soap-box Kart with an engine for getting to work, the VW Nils will possibly offer the best combination of practicality, refinement and cost. Yes, there’s the Audi Urban Concept to consider, but that will be more expensive (there’s a reason Audi makes VW 40% of its profits), so if commuters do actually find appeal in this route then the Nils is probably the front-runner.

Citroen DS3 at 2009 Frankfurt motor show

Mon, 24 Aug 2009

By Tim Swietochowski First Official Pictures 24 August 2009 11:37 Citroen has unveiled the production version of its DS3, which will be displayed for the first time at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. It is a brave decision by Citroen to revive the DS badge – standing for déesse (or goddess) and first seen on the pioneering 1950s DS. Based on the next C3, the DS3 is the first of a new range of ‘near-premium’ models, which will eventually include posher DS4 and DS5 derivatives based on future C4 and C5 models.
