Skunk2 Racing camshaft profiles are designed using the latest computerized valvetrain and modeling techniques to maximize horsepower and torque. Their camshafts are designed utilizing years of racing experience. These camshaft blanks are cast from the same foundries used by auto manufacturers such as Toyota, Nissan, Honda, and Mitsubishi, and utilize the latest in Japanese chill-casting technology. Skunk2 Racing camshafts are ground to exact specification using CNC cam grinding machines and are subjected to hours of performance and durability testing. Skunk2 Racing camshafts must pass stringent quality control standards that exceed OE requirements.Stage I: Stage I profiles are designed to offer the widest possible powerband and be compatible with factory valvetrain components. These camshafts are designed to retain stock idle and are currently CARB EO-pending. Upgrading to Skunk2 Racing valve springs is recommended. Stage I profiles are relatively easy to tune for maximum power output.

Rare early Jaguar E-Type sells for £88,000
Mon, 28 Oct 2013ONE OF THE MOST RARE Jaguar E-Types, and one of the first to be built in the 1960s sold has at auction for more than £88,000. An anonymous British buyer from the south of England bought the iconic sports car at an auction in Ascot, Berkshire. The hammer fell at £77,000, but with a buyer's premium the final bill was £88,040, a spokesman for Coys the auctioneers said.

We reported from Geneva that Ron Dennis has declared he put the new McLaren P1 round Top Gear’s Dunsfold track a full 10 seconds quicker than the contentious Top Gear lap time set by the Pagani Huayra. So when McLaren sent us a video that declared their new F1 driver, Sergio Perez, had taken the P1 round Dunsfold – and here is the video – we though we might get a proper insight in to just how quick the P1 is.
BMW hires former General Motors EV expert Weber, sources say

It's a move that gives the world's leading luxury carmaker a huge boost in electric vehicle expertise as Weber was the lead engineer for the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid. BMW plans to launch its i3 full-electric car and its i8 plug-in hybrid in 2013.
