Product Description from Skunk2:

Skunk2 Racing’s Pro-Series Intake Manifold improves airflow thus increasing horsepower by as much as 8% over stock manifolds on stock engines and even more on modified or forced-induction engines. Skunk2 manifolds significantly increase horsepower between 3000-8800 rpm; the broadest powerband increase in the industry. Our new Pro-Series design features a 22% increase in power over our previous design. Engineered with a larger plenum and tapered runners, Skunk2 manifolds increase and accelerate airflow, and are designed to increase the effects of wave scavenging at the engine’s optimum operating RPM range providing a broad overall increase in usable power. Each runner entry is also modified to balance airflow between cylinders. Oversized throttle bodies can be used as a result of the modified IAC opening on the flange. Like OEM factory manifolds, Skunk2 manifolds are shell molded and CNC machined, to achieve superior strength, high-quality finish, and a precise fit. Each manifold is vacuum tested to ensure quality and leakfree operation. The Skunk2 Pro-Series manifold utilizes all stock sensors and auxiliaries for a simple bolt-on installation that delivers maximum power. Ideal for NA and Forced Induction

Vauxhall Mokka Tech Line targets company car drivers

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

Vauxhall is adding a fourth trim level to the Mokka compact SUV with the Tech Line trim aimed at company car drivers for low P11D and BIK. There was a time when company cars were a great perk and taxed sensibly. But that has now loing gone – to the detriment of the car industry and the company car driver – with all fixated on P11D and BIK rates.

Dodge Charger

Mon, 22 Nov 2010

The new Dodge Charger is longer, lower and wider than the model it replaces, but offers even more performance from its 5.7-liter Hemi V8, which now belts out 470bhp and the standard 2.7-liter Pentastar V6 also offers 292bhp and better economy. Although based on the previous models' platform, the car has been significantly reworked to enhance its driving dynamics with all-new suspension settings, but it also wears bolder sheet-metal. The interior, benchmarked against European models, features soft touch plastics, a single piece molding for the dash and better colors throughout the range.

Audi plays paintball with RS4 Avants

Tue, 26 Feb 2013

The latest generation of cars from Ingolstadt has finally mitigated the nose-heavy feeling we didn't enjoy in previous automobiles from the company. Now they've mitigated the lack of paintball guns, adding them to a pair of RS4 Avants -- done up in Spy-vs.-Spy black and white, natch -- and setting them loose in a hangar, framing the whole shebang with a smidge of Super Nintendo-vintage video-gaminess. Still no dice on getting one in the states, though.
