Pagani, Mercedes-AMG say V12s are separate
Thu, 18 Nov 2010Italian sports-car maker Pagani and Mercedes-AMG, the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz, on Thursday said that the engine for the future Pagani C9 supercar is not the same engine used in the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series roadster. The unusual announcement--automakers typically don't comment on future-product programs--refutes reports about the Pagani C9's engine. In January, Road and Track magazine reported that the V12 for the C9 was derived from the V12 in the SL65 Black Series.
BMW X1 at the Paris motor show 2008
Thu, 02 Oct 2008By Ben Barry Motor Shows 02 October 2008 16:03 The new X1 and 7-series were the stars of BMW’s Paris stand, but there were plenty more treats for showgoers, including the subtly revised 3-series saloon and Touring – the Efficient Dynamics-fettled 3 now boasting the lowest carbon emissions in its class. In the metal it doesn’t actually look much smaller than the X3, but it does look a hell of a lot lower.
Brabus turns the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG up to 850 hp

One such question was: what would an 850-hp E-class sedan be like? The answer comes in the form of their latest reworking of the E63 AMG sedan (itself no slouch, it should be noted), called the 850 6.0 Biturbo.
