An original design, Skunk2's Low Profile Valve Cover Hardware kits are the only ones designed specifically for B-series valve covers. Low Profile Valve Cover Hardware kits are a comprehensive design, featuring specially engineered "standoffs"� that include provisions for Skunk2's unique, low-profile washers and flush-mounted, stainless steel hardware. Each kit includes 12 low-profile washers and 12 flush-mounted, stainless steel bolts. All kits are compatible with OEM valve covers as well as OEM and most aftermarket spark plug wire covers, including those from Skunk2. Each OEM-grade standoff replaces the factory mounting studs, allowing for the camshaft caps to be secured to factory specifications. NO OTHER valve cover kit available offers such a solution. A series of Viton O-rings and the appropriate extensions are included with each kit to ensure a leak-free seal and OEM fit and finish. Only Skunk2's 40-piece Low Profile Valve Cover Hardware kits include washers and standoffs for all eight mounting points as well as for fastening most spark plug wire covers into place. And only Skunk2 offers the lowest profile washers and bolts around. BMW teases 2 Series Coupé with new video [w/Video]
Mon, 21 Oct 2013BMW's 2 Series Coupé has been previewed in a video ahead of its reveal later this month. The teaser video – produced in the dramatic style favored by most carmakers – outlines the 2 Series' silhouette and from what we can see it's much sleeker and rounder than its predecessor while generally retaining the same proportions. Although the car – which is the second generation of the 1 Series Coupé – is debuting on 25 October, we won't see it on show stands until next January's North American International Auto Show.

But I tend to judge the shows by the afterglow--how much you remember a day or two after the event. I tend to remember a lot after every Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, and that is mostly because the founder, Bill Warner, uses his annual North Florida show to do exactly what you and I would do if we ran a big show--invite our heroes to come talk and invite the cars we'd like to look at ourselves.
