    Top Gear has been on the 2012 WRC Wales Rally with a Bentley Continental GT Speed driven by Kris Meeke with James May as co-driver. We know that Top Gear won’t be back on our screens – at least not with a new series – until 2013, because Jeremy Clarkson told us.     Opel to revive Monza line with Frankfurt-bound concept

    Opel will unveil a new concept aimed at reviving the Monza line at September's Frankfurt motor show, according to reports emerging from Germany. The concept is believed to be a large coupé showcasing the brand's latest in lightweight materials and in-car technologies. Details are scarce, but it is allegedly based on a shortened Cadillac ATS platform with a rear-wheel drive layout and will include a range of four- and six-cylinder engines with displacements between between 2.0 and 3.6-liters.

    After years of speculation, Google finally announced its Google Car autonomous vehicle at the Recode Code Conference in Palos Verdes, CA yesterday. Google CEO Sergey Brin unveiled the company's new two-seat, driverless vehicle at the software conference, underlining the company's aim of drastically reducing road deaths and injuries caused by human error, particularly by distracted drivers. "We're now exploring what fully self-driving vehicles would look like by building some prototypes; they'll be designed to operate safely and autonomously without requiring human intervention," said Brin.
