Only the top is soft in new Audi A5/S5 cabriolet

Audi is bucking the trend among luxury automakers who are churning out hardtop convertibles, as the new A5/S5 cabriolets that will reach these shores in October will be the old-fashioned, soft-top design. While other manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Volvo, among others, offer folding hard-tops, Audi says the compromise necessary to make room for the top and all its mechanical apparatus makes a soft-top the right choice for a small to mid-size convertible. Chrysler Sebring

Chrysler has shown pictures of the 2007 Sebring, a mid-sized sedan that will enter production in America later this year. RM Auctions to offer ex-works Ducatis at Monaco event

RM Auctions took a break from its Arizona dealings to drop a release about its upcoming Monaco event featuring 100 classic and rare Ducati motorcycles. The Saltarelli Collection will be on sale at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, May 10-12, in Monte Carlo. Alongside the Saltarelli Collection, Ducati will offer a selection of classic motorcycles from its factory and museum.
