New Ferrari 458 Italia out testing And today we’ve had drop in to our inbox a picture of a 458 Italia in the flesh, which gives far more idea of perspective than the artfully-lit studio shots Ferrari released. It’s no real surprise that 458s are running around, with the official reveal only a matter of weeks away at the Frankfurt Motor Show. And Ferrari hasn’t gone to huge lengths to disguise this car – just some black and white paintwork.

The Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series (pictured) debuts at 2013 Goodwood FoS In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend and car makers are out in force with their fastest supercars and classics. Mercedes always offer a decent show at Goodwood and this year is no different, with the UK dynamic debut for the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series, which will be strutting its stuff all weekend up the hillclimb. At the other end of the performance range, the Mercedes A45 AMG is also in action showing the crowds just what 360bhp in a compact hatch can do with its runs up the hillclimb.

Nissan Juke-R (2012) goes into production

  Nissan has announced that its Juke-R prototype will enter limited production on a build-to-order basis. Yes, really. The Juke-R is the result of the Nissan Europe Technical Centre in Cranfield teaming-up with UK motorsport engineering firm RML to stuff the powertrain of a Nissan GTR into a Nissan Juke bodyshell to create 'the world's fastest crossover'.
