Ariel Atom 3.5 (2012) first official pictures
Wed, 10 Oct 2012It's difficult for Ariel to come up with a mid-life refresh for its cars - there simply aren't that many bits to fiddle with in the first place. Still, the boys from Somerset must have succeeded, because what we have here is the freshly updated Ariel Atom 3.5. As the name suggests, it's a development of the Ariel Atom 3, with a crop of minor visual tweaks and some mechanical changes too, keeping Caterham and BAC looking over their shoulders.

Thu, 28 Nov 2013Honda's press conference at last week's press conference was full of the usual marketing messages about sales figures, new models and company strategies but the thing that caught our magpie-like eyes was this joyful little video. The cheeky vector graphics feature 19 of the company's concept cars from the last 20 years, starting with the 1994 FSR right up to the NSX via such wonderful oddities as the Kiwami and P-Nut, all accompanied by a bouncy score. It reminded us all why this is a brand that has always stood out as individual and creative even if the last few years have been a little sparse.
College Exhibition: Pforzheim University Summer Degree Show 2004
Tue, 28 Dec 2004Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's summer Transportation Design degree show in July, one of the two graduation shows per year. The Pforzheim Transportation Design courses lead to BA and MA degrees. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, exterior and interior projects by the 5th and 7th semester students, as well as work from students in the earlier stages of the diploma and masters courses.
