Bill Ford outlines 'Blueprint for Mobility' vision [w/video]

His speech at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain was the first ever to be delivered at the annual communications industry event by an automotive industry executive. Called the Volvo ES Concept, it’s the third and final design study from Volvo’s new chief designer Thomas Ingenlath, who’s been pinched from Volvo rival VW to pen a sharp and sexy new range of Swedish metal to take on the dominant Germans. We’ve seen Ingenlath’s idea of a BMW 4-series-sized coupe, and an XC90-previewing SUV.
BMW beats Mercedes-Benz to claim first U.S. luxury sales crown
Thu, 05 Jan 2012BMW fended off a late-year surge by rival Mercedes-Benz to win its first title as best-selling luxury brand in the United States. BMW said Thursday that U.S. sales rose 15 percent to 26,834 in December, for an annual total of 247,907.
