Nissan GT-R Nismo leaks – gets 595bhp
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Nissan GT-R Nismo leaks – gets 595bhp Nissan has been planning to add Nismo performance versions across their range of production cars for the last couple of years, and we’ve seen the Juke Nismo and 370Z Nismo already. Next up is the Nissan GT-R Nismo (even though you’d think it might be tough to make the mad GT-R any more ‘sporty’), an arrival confirmed by Carlos Ghosn back in February when he said “It would be unthinkable for us to develop a range of Nismo road cars without including the GT-R“. Now, ahead of a reveal this week, the first photo of the new GT-R Nismo has arrived together with some detail on what’s on offer.
Motorway Service Station Fuel 'Too Pricey'
Mon, 30 Jun 2014IT WOULD appear that cash-strapped drivers have had their fill of motorway service station fuel – that’s according to a survey conducted by research company Viewsbank. Almost all (98%) of motorists canvassed reckon motorway petrol and diesel is too pricey, with 60% saying they never buy it. Based on responses from 1,030 drivers, the poll also showed that 28% always fill up before going on a motorway and 5% always leave the motorway to find cheaper fuel elsewhere.
Bentley SUV (Falcon) to be built in Slovakia?
Wed, 20 Mar 2013Bentley says it has 2000 pre-orders for the Bentley Falcon SUV and that it is possible the Bentley won’t be built in Crewe but in Bratislava. January’s news was that the Bentley SUV was close to being signed-off for production (we’ve heard that once or twice) and in February we learnt that Bentley have gone back to the drawing board to produce a new design under the watchful eye of Luc Donckerwolke, Bentley’s Chief Designer, which we expect to be a more dynamic one with cues from the Continental, rather than a square truck with Mulsanne headlights. So now it’s time for the March instalment of ‘Bentley SUV News‘, and we have Bentley boss Wolfgang Schreiber telling us that Bentley already has 2,000 pre-orders for their SUV (we’re guessing ‘expressions of interest’ may be closer to the truth) before the new design is shown, and before Bentley has decided whether they want to pitch their SUV just above the new Range Rover at around £150k, or do what Bentley dealers want which is a Bentley SUV costing north of £200k.
