Snap-on Mt 460 Cylinder Shorting Expanded Scale Tachometer on 2040-parts.com
Pa, US
This is a Snap-on MT 460 Cylinder Shorting Expanded Scale Tachometer. I have no idea how to hook this up or if it even works. I did try just connecting it to my battery then hooked one of the plug wires to the large red harness type connector and turned a few knobs and the gauge did move a tiny bit but I have no idea where to hook the yellow end to or even what to look for after the hook up that I did, so it's being sold as is. It was repainted on the outside, and there is some minor surface rust on the handle. Please look closely at all of the photos and decide the condition for yourself. I only ship within the U.S.. Please pay within 3 days from auctions end, by Paypal only. Thank you. If anywhere in this listing it says that I ship worldwide or globally, I do not, only U.S. Shipping

BMW i8 production car revealed – costs £99,845: Frankfurt 2013
Tue, 10 Sep 2013The new BMW i8 Hybrid (pictured) will cost £100k in the UK The BMW i8 jas finally arrived in production guise at the Frankfurt Motor show, neatly creating the top end of BMW’s new i-brand range after the BMW i3 underlined the starting point. Looking really quite appealing, the i8 uses the same carbon fibre reinforced plastic bodyshell and aluminium chassis construction as the i3, but whereas the i3 is built to be a city car, the i8 is the closest we’re likely to get to a 21st century version of the BMW M1. Similar in size to the Audi R8, the BMW i8 is a 2+2 with a 3-cylinder 1.5 litre engine and generator sitting at the back and driving the rear wheels and an electric motor at the front driving the front wheels, with a petrol tank at the back and the batteries for the electric motor stored in the centre tunnel.
SRT Viper logo redesigned for 2013
Wed, 15 Feb 2012STR – Street and Racing Technology, Chrysler Groups' new, standalone performance brand – has unveiled the new logo for its 2013 Viper as it continues to tease the new version of its now iconic model. Designed by Chrysler designer Vince Galante, STR says that the logo, christened ‘Stryker', conveys the "sinister look and evil grin of the original, while giving it a more playful appearance." Galante also says the lines of Stryker are indicative of those that will feature on the 2013 STR Viper. Stryker will be the third design to grace the Viper series, following Sneaky Pete and Fangs and was selected from a number of suggestions at the 2010 Viper Owners Invitational.
Screaming Fords at Kirkland Concours d'Elegance
Fri, 15 Oct 2010Compared with its high-tech-center neighbors--Bellevue and Redmond--the town of Kirkland, Wash., is relatively unknown. But Kirkland is where the vibrant car-collector scene in the area is shown at its best each fall at the Kirkland Concours d'Elegance. And while you may not have heard of Kirkland, you've probably heard of its famous Pacific Northwest weather--not the best, you'd think, for outdoor car shows.
