Land Rover Freelander 2 Review & Road Test: Freelander 2 SD4 HSE (2011) Part 2

Sun, 20 Mar 2011

Freelander 2 SD4 Review Part 2 Ever since the V6 petrol engine quietly disappeared from the Freelander 2 some time ago – without fanfare or farewell – there’s been a bit of a gap in the Freelander range. Hobson’s choice on the engine front isn’t the end of the world, but a bit more oomph wouldn’t go amiss. VW bring Golf GTI and Polo Concepts to Wörthersee

Thu, 21 May 2009

VW has brought the Golf GTI & Polo Worthesee Concepts to the Worthersee Tour in Austria The Wörthersee Tour is in full swing in Austria, and as we told you yesterday Audi has brought along the Audi Q5 Wörthersee Concept to show off, along with a handful of its latest models. But this is a VW as well as Audi show, so Volkswagen has gone one better and brought along a pair of  Concept Cars – The VW Golf GTI Wörthersee  Concept and the VW Polo Wörthersee  Concept. The Golf GTI Concept, based on the new VW Golf GTI, comes in a dark Firespark Red and a set of mean looking black alloys.

Koenigsegg Trevita revealed

Thu, 10 Sep 2009

The new Koenigsegg Trevita, with diamond finish Carbon Fibre This is the first time that Koenigsegg’s visible carbon weave has been produced in anything other than bog-standard black. But in the Treviat it looks stunning – it shimmers in a  way its namesake would be proud of. The CCXR Trevita will – we assume – come with the same bio-fuel engine as the CCXR Edition, as Koenigsegg has told us that this car will produce the same mammoth 1018 bhp, and sub-3 second 0-60, as the Edition.
