Subaru’s WRC Impreza rally car (2008): first pictures
Wed, 21 May 2008By Nick Gibbs First Official Pictures 21 May 2008 09:37 Subaru has surprised the rally world by announcing it will launch its new WRC Impreza at next week’s Acropolis Rally in Greece, two events earlier than expected. The Prodrive-developed five-door WRC car, which is based on Subaru’s hatchback Impreza, uses the same 2.0-litre turbo engine that powered the old rally car, but does away with the traditional yellow lettering in favour of Subaru’s silver and white corporate logo. Hardcore fans panic not: the blue paintwork and iconic gold wheels stay.

Sun, 09 May 2010The Spanish GP 2010 gets underway We finally get back to the real F1 world with the first European race of the 2010/2011 season at Barcelona, a circuit that is probably better known by the drivers than any other thanks to winter testing. Yesterday’s qualifying saw the Red Bulls dominate as they have at ever qualifying this year. Only this time it was Webber who stole pole from team mate Vettel.
Carlsson C25 super coupé (2010) first official pictures
Wed, 27 Jan 2010Mercedes tuner Carlsson will whisk the covers off this slinky new sports coupe at the 2010 Geneva motor show. The new C25 is Carlsson’s take on the Merc CL and this reskinned supercar will be one of the world premieres at the Palexpo arena. Carlsson says it’s the company’s first own-developed and badged road car and it just about looks convincingly different enough from the SL to warrant that claim, we reckon. Just 25 C25s will be built, each powered by a breathed-on Mercedes 743bhp bi-turbo 6.0-litre V12.
