Cameras to catch illegal parking on the school run
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Schools and councils across the country are turning to CCTV to enforce parking restrictions during the school run – and a new low-cost camera system is set to make this even easier in the coming months. According to reports in the Sunday Times and the Daily Mail, the new surveillance system costs as little as £16,000, and is able to record and recognise the number plates of illegally parked cars outside schools. Sat, 26 May 2012Dany Bahar, Lotus boss, suspended from his job Controversial Lotus boss Dany Bahar has been suspended from Lotus pending an enquiry in to his conduct. Since ex-Ferrari man Dany Bahar arrived at Lotus it’s all turned in to a bit of a soap opera. From announcing the creation of six new Lotus cars and plans to turn Lotus in to an East Anglian cross between Ferrari and Aston Martin, to the completely bizarre Lotus PR meltdown rant we saw recently, it’s not been quiet in Hethel since Dany Bahar arrived.
