No worries....your SA2005 helmet is good for another 5 years at the racing venues. The SA2010 are now good for 10 years. (Hey, who would want a smelly, 10 year old helmet ??) In other words, it is the most stringent new Snell rating to ensure your noggin is protected when taking the corners. And to help its cause, the VW Jetta no longer shares any body panels with the Golf, so the bold claim being made is that this new model is ‘just as independent as a CC or a Tiguan’. It's essentially a plastic addenda-clad version of the existing Panda 4x4, but the Cross has so far only been available in mainland Europe. Like the exisiting Panda 4x4 it features a permanent four-wheel drive system and an electronic differential lock, so should you choose to take the fields home, traction won’t be a problem. But the Panda Cross also gets new round front and rear lights, chunky side sills in contrasting colours to the body, new bumpers, 15-inch alloys and a two-tone interior.
