Andy Saunders sells 'Art Cars' collection
Tue, 04 Nov 2008British 'car artist' Andy Saunders' 'Art Car' collection was sold by RM Auctions in London, UK on October 29, along with a selection of classic cars and a McLaren F1 that sold for £2.5 million - a new world record. Though lacking the quality of many Californian custom cars when seen close up, the Art Cars were fascinating to see, and unlike other custom car creators, Saunders has made almost all of the cars for himself; conceiving and creating the cars without any design process beyond thinking them through and getting his hands dirty in evenings after work. Each of the cars introduced new themes not evident in their donor designs and, within the context of many salubrious but established classic car designs at the auction, they had a powerful quixotic appeal. So why is he selling them?
Ferrari F70: New Enzo officially teased

We know what the front of the new Ferrari Enzo looks like thanks to photo sneaked at a private presentation for the Ferrari faithful recently, and we’ve seen the F70 on video, albeit camouflaged. But now we know what the back end of the F70 looks like thanks to a teaser photo on the latest edition of the Ferrari Magazine.

Wed, 11 Sep 2013Nissan has revealed its much-needed new X-Trail here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show – a genuinely global car that will now be sold in 190 countries around the world from 2014. The new Nissan X-Trail has evolved to become more of a crossover model than the traditional 4x4-look old version: Nissan reckons it is the ‘ultimate all-weather highly capable modern family vehicle’.
