This hefty solid 316 stainless steel hinge lifts and separates to allow complete removal of a door/panel.
It weighs 8 oz, and is 1/4" (about 5mm) thick throughout.  The hinge folds flush back onto itself.  Height 2" by 3.5" when open.

The original purpose was for a proposed side deck gate railing of teak, that opens by lifting and resting back on itself.
It would also make an excellent hinge for a cockpit companionway door.

It has never been used, and is still in original plastic packaging.

General Motors Co., aiming to give its small cars a sales edge, may introduce continuously variable transmissions to deliver better fuel economy, executives say. GM doesn't use CVTs now. But they could be used on models such as the Chevrolet Spark, Aveo and Cruze in the next three years, said Mike Arcamone, CEO of GM Daewoo Auto & Technology.
