Lightweight version of the 2-millimeter vibro-insulation. It is used for car doors, hood and bootlid. It is 30% lighter than usual 2-mm sound deadening material at the same time retaining all the properties. It is manufactured for avoiding additional loads on door and hood hinges. It is also widely used on the wheel arch covers and any plastic parts of the passenger compartment.

Vibro-absorbing, multilayer, self-adhesive material. Mostly used for the vibration absorption and sound deadening in the car interior, it is stuck to the metal, plastic panels with thickness up to 1 mm – doors and roof of a car.

Facing layer – flexible and strong aluminum foil that increases soundproof properties of the material and also provides the mechanical protection. The impression has the form of the grid with the jutting out foursquare. This particular form as opposed to standard embossing ensures a higher soundproof level and additional rigidity and makes the process of cutting easier.

The layer of the red-orange color is a high-filled low-weight composite material based on caoutchouc. It has  high-level vibro-absorbing properties and additionally protects the car body against corrosion; possesses permanent adhesiveness and high elasticity. The paste layer is resistant to environmental factors including moisture and temperature fluctuations. Working temperature range is from -60оC to +140оC, short-term exposure to high temperatures +160оC is possible when the material retains its structural and physical properties. During installation, a sheet of the material must be rolled down to the base for the final positioning.

The paste layer’s mounting surface is secured with the release paper, which needs to be removed just before the installing of the material. On the release-layer surface there is a logo acting as a counterfeit protection and a ruling that makes cutting and installing easier. Due to high-quality release paper, the manufacturer guarantees adhesive properties retention for 12 months since the production date. After installation, working lifespan is not limited and corresponds to the useful life of a car or any other object providing abidance by the rules of installation and service instructions.

Our material is produced as a sheet in size 320x270 mm. This sheet format ideally matches car body parts as it decreases the amount of waste materials significantly and increases the installation speed, and the whole process of soundproofing becomes easier. Finished products are packed into the cardboard envelopes or cartons. Due to the sheet’s size and packaging format, it is very easy and convenient to transport, store and use our material.

Audi Urban Future Awards 2010 - Phase 2

Thu, 16 Sep 2010

Imagine a utopia where digital technology allows for an uninterrupted traffic flow of autonomously driven pay-as-you-go ‘taxis' that liberate the urban landscape from the unnecessary clutter of road signs, traffic lights, parked vehicles and the pollution caused by street lights. This was the winning proposal from Berlin architect J Mayer H who has won the Audi Urban Future Awards. In this visionary cityscape for 2030, the car will transform from being a machine for maneuvering in traffic to a sensorial experience machine – the opened up urban space allowing its inhabitants to appreciate buildings and other monuments overshadowed by sheer traffic and its support systems.

Watch the Jaguar Project 7 F-Type go up the Goodwood hillcimb

Sat, 13 Jul 2013

Jaguar Project 7 F-Type (pictured) tackles the Goodwood FoS hillclimb One of the surprises of the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed has been the debut of the Jaguar Project 7 car, an F-Type with the more bountiful 542bhp supercharged V8 and styling stolen from the D-Type. Jaguar are saying Project 7 isn’t heading for production, but we’re pretty sure most of what’s underneath it – principally the 542bhp version of the supercahrged V8 – is in a production F-Type R. Perhaps surprisingly, fitting the 542bhp vresion of the V8 doesn’t seem to have done a lot for the F-Type’s sprint times, with 62mph coming up in 4.1 seconds, just 0.1 seconds quicker than the 495bhp engine in the standard Jaguar F-Type V8.
