Jaguar to end XK production after 18 years
Fri, 07 Mar 2014Jaguar will this summer cease production of the XK 2+2 GT car after 18 years at the top of the Coventry firm’s model range. The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type. VW showed a ‘Concept’ of the Mk VI Golf GTI at last year’s Paris Motor Show but, as we expected, it wasn’t even thinly disguised – it’s pretty much as shown! Just like its siblings, the new GTI is really an evolutionary car rather than a revolutionary one.
Ferrari FF first year's production sold out
Mon, 21 Mar 2011Ferrari S.p.A. said the first year of production of its new FF is sold out and customers who order the model now will receive their cars in the second half of 2012. Ferrari will limit production of the four-seat FF, the luxury sports car maker's first four-wheel-drive model, to 800 units a year.
