Very good condition used Sparco Pro-ADV TS seat. 2 very tiny holes in the upholstery visible in last two photos. Seat only, no brackets or hardware.

Very good used Sparco racing seat Pro-ADV TS.  Fiberglass with fabric. 2 very tiny holes visible in photos. This is a current Sparco seat model and all measurements are on the Sparco website. Seat weighs 25 pounds.  Retail new from Sparco is $990.00. Auction for seat only, as shown in photos. No hardware, brackets, or belts included.


The Pro-ADV competition seat is the result of a collaborative partnership between Sparco and FIA.  The goal was to identify ways to improve safety. The results are new levels in ergonomics, materials and, above all, safety are all found in the Pro-ADV seat. Increased rigidity and the use of impact-absorbing materials are the major advances found in the Pro-ADV. It features large head and shoulder protectors and can be integrated with a Hans device for even greater protection. The Pro-ADV is FIA-approved.

This year's College of Creative Studies' Cultural Immersion Workshop saw 10 design professionals from Asia – seven of which had never been Stateside before – tour the Midwest on a cultural exploration mission as they sought to provide a fresh perspective on American car culture... in just 27 days. This trip provided the foundation for the innovative concepts that were unveiled at the college on 16 August.

The automotive world lost one of its most influential figures this week. Sergio Pininfarina, longtime chairman of his family's Italian design firm, died on July 2 after an undisclosed illness. He was 85 years old.

Michelin has announced the 15 finalists of the 2014 Michelin Challenge Design, themed ‘Driven/Undriven: The Duality of Tomorrow's Automobile'. Their work will be showcased in January at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. A judging panel of automotive designers and industry experts selected individuals and teams from Italy, China, South Korea, Finland, Serbia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Guatemala from over 900 registrants from 74 countries.
