Pininfarina Cambiano video teaser released

Pininfarina has unveiled a video teaser of its Cambiano concept that reveals the rear end of the car for the first time. The Cambiano will be displayed on Pininfarina's Geneva Motor Show stand from 6 March. Its design places great emphasis on eco-friendliness, both in terms of its engine and the materials used in its construction.

Chevrolet Volt for European sale in November 2011

Chevrolet will start selling the Volt range-extender hybrid from European Chevy outlets in November 2011 and plans right-hand drive from UK launch in spring 2012. It means that GM will offer Europeans the choice of the Volt or the Opel/Vauxhall Ampera – the Euro spec version of the same car. Although prices are not yet set for either model, CAR understands the Chevy is likely to be positioned slightly cheaper than the Vauxhall.

Nanjing Automotive Corporation, the Chinese company that bought the assets of the bankrupt MG Rover in 2005, has lifted the lid on its plans. Assembly of up to 15,000 TFs annually will begin in the first half of next year, at the mothballed West Midlands plant.
