Daimler, Renault-Nissan announce alliance

Daimler and Renault-Nissan unveiled the details of an international alliance on Wednesday in a landmark collaboration designed to fortify the three historic automakers by sharing technology and reducing costs around the world. This week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the automaker showed off a system that would notify car owners, via a smartphone or tablet, when a delivery company wants to drop off or pick up something from their car.
