Ford invests $1 million in teen-driving program

The Ford Motor Co. Fund is investing an additional $1 million into its no-charge driving-skills program for teenagers, the automaker said on Tuesday. More than 3,000 Americans between the ages of 15 and 19 are killed in crashes each year, according to government statistics.

The North American International Auto Show kicks off this week. Jaguar hasn't offered a four-cylinder engine since 1948 and no V6 since the small, lackluster X-Type was pulled from the United States four years ago. But in an era of mpg obsession, even this proud British luxury brand is changing. Jaguar will offer four- and six-cylinder engines in two of its three car lines, starting this fall.
