Lamborghini Aventador: Are gearbox problems delaying deliveries of LP700-4?

Sat, 12 Nov 2011

Lamborghini Aventador at Goodwood this year We first started to wonder if Lamborghini were having problems with the Aventador a few weeks ago, when a friend of Cars UK told us that his LP700-4 – which he’d been told was in build in September and due at his dealers in October – was mysteriously bumped until April 2012. Bridgestone’s ‘We’ve been everywhere’ Road Trip prize giving

Fri, 09 Aug 2013

Bridgestone’s ‘I’ve been everywhere’ Road Trip Flogging tyres isn’t the easiest job in the world; we all need them – at intervals far too regular than we’d like – but buyers tend to fall in to two camps – those who know a brand and ask for it by name, and those that have put on their car whatever the man at Kwik Fit is pushing this week. So ‘Brand Awareness’ is the name of the game (a game that can backfire – just ask Pirelli what’s going on in F1) and the more potential buyers a tyre brand can lodge its name in the brain of, the better. Which is why Bridgestone are running their We’ve been everywhere interactive campaign which very cleverly plots the escape of one man from office drudgery and showcases his journey out in to the proper world, all to a soundtrack of Johnny Cash’s ‘I’ve been everywhere’.

Pagani Huayra: First US Pagani dealers revealed

Wed, 06 Apr 2011

Pagani Huayra - now on sale in the USA For a car maker that’s sold fewer cars in its ten year life than Toyota makes in fifteen minutes, Pagani has built a real reputation as a maker of hugely desirable hypercars. Remarkably, that reputation has been built whilst excluding from it sales market the biggest market for hypercars of all – the United States. But that’s about to change.
